Former basketball player Michael Jordan lost a round in court that may doom his lawsuit against a Chicago company who ran a congratulatory ad in Sports Illustrated when Jordan was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
A federal judge ruled that the ad was “noncommercial speech” and protected under the First Amendment. -db
